Lost in Translation

Distribution of interesting chemistry over different languages.

The SOR Database contains a very large amount of the new chemical information - unpublished yet validated and relevant work. Language is an accessibility issue; an analysis on more than 300,000 medicinally-relevant chemical compounds revealed that less than 40% originates from English-speaking countries.

SORD provides all its data in English, translating the experimental details from the source languages (currently French, German and Chinese).
